Restoring the Fourth Amendment
in the Digital Era.
An individual’s home, papers, financial ledgers, and intimate thoughts are sacred ground. We are a nationwide citizen initiative mobilizing Americans to pass the Freedom of Privacy Constitutional Amendment and outlaw warrantless corporate-government surveillance.
The Digital Revolution Broke the Dam
For over two centuries, the principle held: government could not intrude without an individualized warrant based upon probable cause. Today, that fortress is in ruins.
The Monetized Persona
Corporate monopolies harvest our real-time GPS locations, biometrics, financial ledgers, and intimate conversations—packaging the human soul into algorithmic commodities.
The Data Broker Loophole
When the Fourth Amendment forbids direct federal wiretapping, intelligence agencies bypass judges by simply purchasing private commercial dossiers with taxpayer funds.
Profiled Subjects, Not Citizens
When participation in modern civil society requires the total and unconditional surrender of privacy, self-governance collapses into an uncheckable surveillance state.
The Declaration of
Digital Sovereignty
Being a Solemn Charter of Rights, Immunities, and Constitutional Decrees
When in the course of human technological evolution, it becomes manifest that the ancient liberties bequeathed unto a free people are subverted by silent machinery and invisible surveillance, duty compels the citizenry to proclaim their unalienable boundaries.
The American Republic was founded on a simple, immutable truth: an individual’s home, papers, and personal life are sacred ground, off-limits to government intrusion without a specific warrant based upon probable cause. For more than two centuries, that principle held fast against tyranny. But the digital revolution broke the dam.
Today, our most personal thoughts, financial records, daily travels, and intimate conversations are tracked, packaged, and monetized by corporate monopolies, then secretly tapped or purchased by government agencies through illicit loopholes. The Third-Party Doctrine has transformed the Bill of Rights into a relic. When participating in modern life requires the unconditional surrender of our privacy, we are no longer free citizens—we are profiled subjects.
What an individual generates belongs solely to that individual. No corporate entity, sovereign state, or commercial syndicate may take, share, monetize, or profile an individual’s life without affirmative, standalone, and yearly renewed consent.
Your precise physical location, your biological and genomic markers, your financial ledgers, and your private medical health records are sacrosanct. They are placed strictly beyond the reach of corporate market exchange and warrantless harvesting.
If any municipal, state, or federal authority desires the digital records of any citizen, it must petition an independent Article III judge and demonstrate probable cause under the Fourth Amendment. No data broker loopholes. No warrantless workarounds. No government purchases of private data.
Neighborhoods and private enterprises retain the right to secure their property; yet our public commons, roadways, and civic squares shall never be wired into autonomous facial-recognition drag nets, automated tracking arrays, or warrantless biometric dossiers.
When power breaks the law, it must pay. Every citizen shall possess an unfettered private right of action to sue corporate and governmental offenders directly, stripping away qualified immunity for intentional violations and establishing mandatory statutory damages.
The Ultimate Demand
We do not seek half-measures, corporate voluntary pledges, or weak regulatory agency rules that get rewritten with every election cycle. We demand a permanent, binding seal upon our digital borders:
The Freedom of Privacy Amendment to the United States Constitution.
"Your life is not public property. The digital border begins now."
Why a Constitutional Advocacy Group Matters
Unlike traditional charities that are legally muzzled from lobbying, a constitutional advocacy group and citizen initiative can confront politicians directly, draft model state bills, and organize grassroots political power.
Model State Acts
Enacting State Digital Fourth Amendment Acts to immediately outlaw state and local police purchases of commercial surveillance databases without judicial warrants.
Data Broker Ban
Mobilizing congressional district lobbies to defund federal agency acquisitions of bulk commercial dossiers from unaccountable multinational data brokers.
The 28th Amendment
Securing resolutions in 34 state legislatures under Article V of the Constitution to permanently enshrine Digital Sovereignty into the supreme law of the land.
